organizing its first customer meet
in Colombo to address existing and
top 150 potential customers, today
announced plans to double its current
10%
market share to 20%
by year end 2004-2005.
Having entered the Sri-Lankan market
almost 14 years ago via tie-ups
with local distributors, the company
also announced the opening of a
liaison office under the aegis of
a newly appointed Country Manager.

Office, John Keells Holdings,
The Ministry of Education
and The Wildlife and Forest
Conservation Department.
The company also increased its
existing range of UPS and PEC
products in the country with the
introduction of PC Uptime, a 650
VA UPS and Himond PEC. The PC
Uptime 650 VA UPS received an
overwhelming response with 5,000
units already rolled out in the
market. Himond also elicited a
favorable response from reputed
players in the textile industry
such as Gtech Lanka Pvt Ltd, Melnorne
Textiles Pvt Ltd and Winter Quilts
